Kate Doke pursued a degree in hotel and restaurant management at the University of Houston where she excelled and became one of the youngest certified sommeliers at that time. When Kate made the decision to join Greenwood King Properties, her training and prior management career with 5-star hotels, private wine storage clubs, and an elite boutique wine distribution company had already equipped her with stellar skills in sales and customer service.

"Like the food and beverage industry, real estate has always been a passion," Kate explains. "It gives me the same vibrant connection with people that I love. I also feel strongly about supporting locally owned businesses and Greenwood King Properties is the top locally owned real estate firm in Houston. Kate thrives when surrounded by energy from other people and excels in an environment that's full of action. She has worked with a wide variety of clients, understands their expectations, and knows how to meet and exceed them.

A native Houstonian, Kate graduated from Bellaire High School. She and her husband, owner of Tiny Boxwoods restaurant group, are busy professionals but spend as much time as possible with their three young daughters. "We try to be outside as much as we can," Kate says, "whether it is bike riding, walking the dog, or simply having picnics in the backyard."
